why i write

A Manifesto of Love, Hope, and the Written Word
I believe in a love that does not insist on itself--
That moves quietly, kindly, without demand.
I believe in beauty, even in sorrow,
In the wonder of a garden,
And in the sacredness of daily life.
Though I write romance, what I really long to share is the deeper ache that stirs behind it--
the divine spark of human connection, the possibility of healing,
the hope that kindness might still surprise us.
I do not write to preach.
It is more of a prayer.
To offer a bit of gentleness
in a world too often harsh and rushed.
Faith is the thread that runs through all I create.
It does not shout. I do not shout.
Rather it shimmers--
like a trail of light upon water.
I am no longer young,
but I am not yet finished.
If my words are my offering,
then let them carry love--always.
I believe in a love that does not insist on itself--
That moves quietly, kindly, without demand.

If my words are my offering,
then let them carry love--always.
